WeArt Magazine is the e-Mag of the festival.  The 1st issue is dedicated to “Sex” on Contemporary Art. We contemplate different areas such like: New Media, Visual Arts, Photography, Illustration, Video Arte, Street Art & Words.

We count on Elisa Rodríguez Campo, as the Editor…

…and a national and international specialized staff, who channel their opinions about sex through art focusing on:  Eroticism, sex & politics, sweet-tasting sex, humor and sex, censured sex-taboo, erotica museums, sex & sexism, and transgenderism.

WeArt Magazine subscribe the aim of keeping warm the Festival’s blood…

WeArt Magazine will go forth, erupting with an overflow of creative juices. The pages of this art space are wide open and we would welcome you to discuss, integrate and display examples of the artists’ portfolio

We would like to knit a vast network…

…that not only sustain us all, but to establish new links and relationships between “Weartists” with external references and other artists, whose work is part of the mainstream of Contemporary Art around the Sex topic.

The main idea is to promote a Contemporary Art Festival in Barcelona as WeArt,  taking advantage of “Sex” as our main theme in 2012… and we are conscious that our explicit graphic identity is going to be a powerful and inspiring statement…

WeArt has provided the concept of Sex as a big brute gem…

… as the basis of our particular way to make shine one of its faces and angles…

Sex is part of everyone and through the art, there are so many ways of expressing, draw or communicate ideas related to it, as much as millions of people are in the world.  Have you ever really thought about this?

WeArt Magazine is an open space, a fresh lobby where the theme “Sex” takes place, gathering together different points of view, multicolored-shapes that match up: artists to curators, casino dancers to scientists, virtual zapping experts to anthropologists, or even match box collectors to politicians – Visionaries of the concept of SEX … All of you are welcome onboard!
